BEI Announces VP of Finance, Kristin Carney

Carney brings strong financial leadership skills to this new role for BEI 

Building Engines, a provider of comprehensive web and mobile property management software for the commercial real estate industry, is excited to welcome Kristin Carney as Vice President, Finance. She will oversee all financial matters that come before the company, and help each department to drive growth while maintaining a collective focus on delivering the highest value to Building Engines clients.

Ms. Carney brings over 20 years of financial and operations experience and strong strategic leadership skills to the Building Engines team. Over her career, she has helped both large and small technology companies to meet aggressive financial goals while maintaining fidelity to their core business principles.

Ms. Carney comes to us from Turtle Beach, a high end audio technology company, where she spent the last six months preparing the organization for its merger with Parametric Sound Corporation. She served as Senior Finance Director of the Network Infrastructure Solutions division of Motorola (a division of Google which was sold to Arris in 2013) which provides telecommunications equipment and services to Cable and Telco providers across the globe. Earlier in her career she held senior finance roles including Vice President FP&A at One Communications; Finance Director at The Princeton Review and Applix. Ms. Carney holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University and earned her MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship at Clark University.
