Building Engines Launches 2016 Property Hero Awards

The Property Hero Awards honor individuals who exemplify passion, professionalism, and progressive-thinking in commercial property management.

Building Engines, a leading provider of property management software for commercial real estate, officially launched its 2016 Property Hero Awards this week, which recognize outstanding CRE professionals in commercial property operations by selecting winners in two categories: maintenance and management.

“This unique online competition provides a much-needed spotlight on the unsung heroes of commercial property management,” comments Sarah Fisher, Director of Marketing Communications at Building Engines. “Historically there hasn’t been a lot of public acknowledgement of all the hard work that operations teams put in to make sure that their buildings are functional, safe, and positive environments for tenants.”

Nominations for individual maintenance and management heroes that embody passion, professionalism, and progressive-thinking in the workplace can be submitted anytime between now and 11:59pm EST on November 27th, 2016.

Sixteen finalists; one in each category; will be chosen from the nominees to be voted on by the public starting on December 6th until December 18th at 11:59pm EST.

The grand-prize winner will receive $1200, a feature in the Building Beat blog, and exclusive bragging rights for being an outstanding member of their field. Runners-up will receive $300.

“The Property Hero Awards are a great opportunity for these hard-working property operations professionals to get the hard-earned recognition that they deserve. Not to mention exclusive bragging rights, and of course, a cash prize!” says Fisher. “We and our supportive sponsors are really thrilled to be able to put the spotlight on these heroes and their accomplishments.”
