Building Engines Releases Advanced Yardi Integration

BUILDING ENGINES INTEGRATES WITH YARDI VOYAGR THROUGH GELBGROUP

Building Engines today announced its web-service integration with Yardi Voyager through new partner Gelbgroup Consulting, Inc., a Yardi certified integrator. The advanced integration allows system users to automatically “push” accurate charges (e.g. overtime HVAC bills) directly from Building Engines to their accounting system without delay, rather than sending periodic batches of information between the two systems.

The diversity and complexity of disparate computing platforms has always presented challenges to end-users who are often forced to settle for single platforms that are excellent at one discipline – e.g. accounting – and average at related, but no-less-important, functions. Ideally, enterprise system users could take advantage of multiple best-of-breed platforms with a universal login, leveraging the top technologies from different vendors in as a single functional ecosystem.

With the new, direct integration, users will have a seamless connection between Yardi and Building Engines for an uninterrupted operations management environment. Users will no longer suffer the tangle of numerous technologies, protocols, and applications. Web-services integrations are light speed application-to-application communications that do not require data batching or other unreliable and time consuming steps. They are swift, direct and reliable. With Building Engines’ new web-service integration with Yardi through Gelbgroup, Building Engines users can:

Automatically transfer billable charges from their Building Engines Operations Management System to their Yardi Voyager accounting system, quickly and seamlessly. Achieve seamless integration for Tenants, Vendors and Charges. Eliminate error and delay from batch-driven double entry. Enable the accounting department to manage a system of record for tenant and vendor companies’ charge codes. Task the right people to work on the right data

“Maintaining complete operations management focus while achieving greater platform breadth has always been our goal,” said David Osborn, CEO of Building Engines, Inc. “Our web-services integration with Yardi Voyager through Gelbgroup represents a new standard for real estate operations management systems. Property teams can now leverage Building Engines’ laser focus on modern, flexible real estate operations management systems while directly accessing Yardi’s industry-leading accounting management functions,” Osborn said. “The combination represents a quantum leap forward for the real estate operations management industry.”

I’m excited about our partnership with Building Engines. Gelbgroup’s deep experience with customization and integration of the market leader in accounting software, coupled with Building Engines’ expertise in property and tenant management systems, ensures real estate clients a seamless merging of critical, industry leading software services.

-Geoffrey Gelb, President of Gelbgroup Consulting.
