Overview


Vigilance is the industry’s first risk management technology + consulting service completely integrated into building and facilities operations. It delivers a comprehensive risk management program co-developed by Robert M. Currey & Associates and Building Engines that delivers expert advice and live monitoring by a risk management consultant for certificate of insurance tracking, fire & life safety management, and incident tracking and can be fully integrated into other operations activities including preventive maintenance and green programs.

The mission of the program is to help building and facilities owners and managers of all sizes reduce their exposure and cost of insuring assets portfolio wide.

Real World Results


Vigilance has already demonstrated industry best performance in helping one client to reduce their in total incident related costs per 1,000 sq/ft from $30.65 to $2.42, or 1,267%, over a five year period. We achieved a 17% drop in the premium for buildings higher than 25 stories, 55% reduction for buildings below 25 stories, a 13% reduction in excess contingent. TRIA costs were so low that the insurer included it in the 08-09 premium.

In addition, having already achieved a very strong 92% score, our client was able to improve their score to 96% – earning them the prestigious Gold Award. In 2008, our client will be vying for Safety Act Certification.
