Scott T. RandallScott T. Randall is a high technology industry veteran and visionary Internet entrepreneur who has demonstrated success at creating and selling into new markets. Scott’s most recent success was FairMarket, a leading provider of internet-based auction software. Scott was the founder of FairMarket in 1997 and led the company as CEO from inception through its successful $100 million initial public offering in March 2000. The Company was sold to eBay in 2003. Among other notable successes, Mr. Randall launched one of the Internet's first online retail computer product stores, NECX Direct, in 1994 and grew it from zero to $40 million. Earlier in his career, Scott worked in brand management at Procter and Gamble. Scott has been an active industry leader and spokesperson, having served on the board of directors of the Massachusetts eCommerce Association, as president of the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council (MIMC), and on the Harvard Business School Association of Boston Board of Governors. He is a cum laude graduate of Harvard College and a graduate of the Harvard Business School. Ron KalinRon Kalin has over 20 years of experience in software engineering, system architecture, project management, and mission critical application delivery. Ron is currently VP of Technology at Interwise, Inc. (now AT&T Connect) --a leading provider of web conferencing and eLearning software--where he co-manages product design activities and presents Interwise's technology vision to customers and industry analysts. Earlier in his career, Ron was a System Architect at Lotus, a Technical Director at D.E. Shaw Financial Technology (acquired by Merrill Lynch), and a computer science researcher at IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Lab. He has also served as VP of Engineering at several Boston-area start-up companies, building and directing engineering teams while assisting with business strategy, product vision, and investor relations at these companies. Ron possesses broad application domain expertise, having led the development of award-winning software products in the areas of web-based conferencing, digital media production, online brokerage systems, financial forecasting, spreadsheet applications, and three-dimensional graphics. Ron holds a BA from Princeton University with concentrations in Computer Science and Political Philosophy. William E. StevensonMr. Stevenson is in charge of product features, direction and updates, client installations and training. Prior to joining Building he was partner at a boutique commercial real estate firm in Boston, helping to acquire and manage commercial real estate assets in the Northeast. In addition Mr. Stevenson has 8 years of software product management and marketing experience ranging from angel funded startups to publicly traded software firms. He managed projects, including international equity trading systems, asset allocation and modeling software and college application automation process. Mr. Stevenson holds an MBA from Babson College, a Masters from Yale University and a BS from Union College. |
