David Osborn, Chairman

Mr. Osborn is a founder of the Company and Chairman of the Board of Directors.   He has fourteen years experience in early-stage companies within the technology sector. As CFO and Vice President of Operations at Milestone Systems, Inc., a venture funded start-up, he helped to design and develop a multi-carrier desktop shipping system targeted at the small office, home office market. During his tenure, Mr. Osborn managed all operations of the company and he helped to negotiate and secure strategic partnerships with multinational corporations such as Pitney Bowes, Inc, Airborne Express and DHL International.  Prior to Building Engines, Osborn developed a remote Internet-based monitoring system for the residential real estate market known as "iWitness".  Osborn also has over two decades of legal experience, serving as in-house corporate counsel to early stage companies, as an environmental litigator in the private sector and originally as an intern and law clerk to the State of Maine Supreme Judicial Court in Portland, Maine and The Maine Superior Court, in Bangor.  Osborn is a member of the Maine and Massachusetts Bar Associations.

Andrew B. Ashforth

Mr. Ashforth is Co-Chief Executive Officer and an owner of Ashforth. He is jointly responsible for the overall operation of the Company including its ownership and development activities, and its divisions, A.P. Construction Company, Ashforth Pacific, Inc. and the management and brokerage divisions of Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Barrett Associates, Inc. In addition to his role as Co-Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ashforth is CEO of A.P. Construction Company. He is responsible for the overall operation including long term goals and direction. Mr. Ashforth has worked with an extensive number of Connecticut and New York businesses including Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Ashforth brings considerable real estate management and business acumen to the Building Engines, Inc. team.

John S. Childs

Mr. Childs is a founder of the Company. He has over 16 years of experience in the building services industry. He also owns OTL, Inc. - a building restoration company servicing some of the largest property owners and managers in New England. He built the largest open shop building restoration and maintenance business in New England, which employed over 200 people and generated in excess of $24 million in annual revenues. His responsibilities ranged from business development to operations management. Mr. Childs was also responsible for building a telecommunications installation division that serviced the Digital Communications carriers (AT&T, Sprint, Nextel, US West, Ericsson, Teligent). The division employed over 100 technicians.

David R. Devereaux

Dave Devereaux is executive vice president of Telemedicine Solutions, Inc., creator of WoundRounds™, an easy-to-use technology- enabled solution that improves the process of wound care management in health care facilities. Prior to joining Telemedicine Solutions, Devereaux spent nearly 30 years in the skilled nursing field, starting as a housekeeper while in high school. Upon completion of his education, Devereaux was a nursing home administrator in various states, until joining The Hillhaven Corporation in 1988. During his tenure with Hillhaven, and in subsequent positions with ManorCare Health Services (1996-1998) and Beverly Healthcare (1998-2006), Devereaux was responsible for multi-facility operations management, ranging in size from a few facilties, to several hundred. In 2001, Devereaux was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Beverly Healthcare, responsible for an operating budget of $2 billion annually, and over 700 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. In 2006, Devereaux endowed a Chair in the College of Health Professions, School of Nursing, at Temple University, in recognition of his mother’s 50 years in Nursing.  In addition, Devereaux also serves as Vice-Chair of the Temple University's Presidential Advisory Board and Chair of its College of Health Professions Board of Visitors, and the boards of Telemedicine Solutions, Inc, and Your Choice Living, Inc., based in Chicago.  Devereaux holds a B. S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University (1984) and an MBA in Health Administration from Temple University (1986).

Hambleton Lord

Hambleton (Ham) Lord has over 25 years experience in the software industry founding and building industry leading companies.  Currently, Ham is the Managing Director of Launchpad Venture Group.  Launchpad is a Boston-based angel group that focuses on seed stage technology companies. He manages the group’s deal flow, due diligence and investing activities. Ham is an active angel investor and advisor to early stage companies.  He is a board member for Building Engines and a board observer for EveryScape.  Ham’s senior management experience was in the software industry, most recently as co-founder and Vice President of Marketing for Advanced Visual Systems (AVS).   AVS develops software for scientists and engineers involved in applications such as Medical Imaging, Geographic Information Systems(GIS), Engineering Analysis and Oil&Gas Exploration.   Muse Technologies acquired AVS in 2000.  Prior to AVS, Ham helped launch two computational chemistry companies, MicroChem Technologies and Polygen. These two companies were pioneers in the development of software for drug discovery, and were part of an industry wide acquisition roll-up that resulted in Accelrys Inc. (NASDAQ: ACCL).  Ham graduated magna cum laude with a degree in computer science from Brown University.
