(London, England) Building Engines, the established leader in Web-Based Operations Management (WBOM) system has announced the successful deployment of the company’s Vigilance™ Risk Management Technology at the ITN Building located at 200 Grays Inn Road, one of London’s premier commercial properties and managed by King Sturge.

This deployment marks the overseas expansion of Vigilance with the same owner, one of the largest and most successful private real estate investment firms in the United States, that reduced their total incurred losses stemming from property incidents per 1,000 sq/ft from $30.65 to $2.42 for a total reduction of 1,267% over a five-year period using Vigilance in their stateside portfolio.200 Gray Inn Road London England

Additional cost savings directly realized by the building owner included a 17% drop in the premium for buildings higher than 25 stories, a 55% reduction for buildings above 25 stories, a 13% reduction in excess contingent, and TRIA costs so low that the insurer included this in the 2008-2009 premium.

“We are very pleased with the success and continued expansion of Vigilance,” said David Osborn, President & Chief Executive Officer of Building Engines. “We have demonstrated that the program significantly reduces insurance costs by improving communications, documentation, and retrieval of critical information. We look forward to continuing with our expansion here in the US and abroad.”
