Jim joined Building Engines in 2018 as VP of Customer Services, his 3rd such role in B2B SaaS. Prior to Building Engines he lead customer services at Sample6, now Corvus, a biotech software company specializing in the food manufacturing industry. Prior to that, he joined Autodesk through an acquisition of Vela Systems bringing a modern web and mobile platform to the construction industry. There he lead a customer services team within the Autodesk BIM360 product line. Jim has over 15 years of experience in customer support, professional services and corporate IT leadership where he has been able establish and grow customer-facing support services, scaling capabilities of the team to serve a large install base and support the evolution of products in Cloud and mobile computing environments. His career spans a variety of industries including AEC, biotech, manufacturing, advertising and most recently real estate. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Siena College. Jim has lived in Boston for 20 years, but when he gets out of the city he enjoys a trip to the Cape and a round of golf.
