Over 600 commercial real estate professionals gathered in Boston last week to celebrate the 2013 TOBY & Industry Awards, a night that honored the best and brightest in property management, building operations, and service in the real estate industry.
We are especially excited to announce that Building Engines client Lincoln Property Company won in five of the 13 building categories for which it was nominated. Most notably, LPC’s 53 State Street (which utilizes Building Engine’s web and mobile property management software) won Best Building of the Year in the “over 1 million square feet” category.
53 State Street is the successful union of the historic granite and marble Boston Stock Exchange Building with a 40-story, reflective glass modern office tower. The buildings are connected by a five-story enclosed atrium with a grand marble stairway features as the centerpiece. The building hosts over 3,500 occupants; achieved an ENERGY STAR rating of 91; and received the LEED EB: O&M Gold Certification in 2012. 53 The 1.1-million-square-foot property has also been designated as a BOMA 360 Performance Building, which recognizes CRE properties that demonstrate best practices in building operations and management.
Other Building Engines clients who were honored include CBRE, Jones Lang LaSalle and Colliers. Congrats to all!
