As a followup to the previous post on the BlackBerry outage, I’m here to bear good news to all CrackBerry addicts. Your fix is in: service has been fully restored globally. However, it may be slow as the system recovers from a slew of failed messaging servers and an underperforming backup system.
The outage that stretched 5 days and 5 continents is the smartphone‘s largest network outage. BlackBerry may have fixed the outage, but they’ll have a harder time assuaging the outrage. The growing phenomenon of a mobile workforce left not only personal lives but also business disrupted.
